Ramadhan 2020 Live fundraising Appeals

Ramadhan has always been the busiest month in which The Zahra Trust work tirelessly around the clock to provide aid in the most affected regions.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this work has increased leaving the most vulnerable people no access to necessities of life, these people are unable to protect themselves from the deadly outbreak. With your support we can provide health screenings, medications, face masks, hand sanitisers, soap and food baskets to the most vulnerable families including orphans, widows, elderlies and people with long term medical conditions.

In countries like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Yemen where the health infrastructure has collapsed, where water is a rare commodity and where millions of people require urgent humanitarian assistance, there is a desperate need for adequate aid.

#COVID-19: The COVID-19 pandemic has put global trade on hold, placed half of the world population in confinement. This outbreak has the potential to wipe out populations who are unable to practise social distancing in overcrowded accommodations or practise self-isolation whilst living as internally displaced people or refugees in war-torn countries like Iraq, Yemen and Syria. With no running water, electricity or sustainable income millions of vulnerable people are at the risk of dying as a result. The Zahra Trust is providing shelter and financial support to many needy families who are struggling to keep a roof on their heads. Through our monthly rent assistance support programme many people are able to secure shelter and afford basic daily necessities to help them survive these difficult times.
